These standards exist to protect clients, maintain quality across the profession, and ensure every coach listed here represents the level of practice in the industry.

Every coach will need to be able to confirm (and demonstrate) credentials.

Traditional Coach Training Requirements
There are two legitimate routes into the directory. You only need to meet one of them.
Option A: Accredited Coaching Training Route
You must have:
At least 60 hours of accredited coach training,
Accepted bodies include the ICF, AC, EMCC, ISCP and ILM.
OR
Option B: Academic Coaching Qualification Route
You must have:
A Level 5 or above UK-based coaching qualification from a recognised body.

Insurance Requirement
You must hold active coaching insurance that explicitly covers your coaching work.
